Mobile Shopping by Age

In an effort to evaluate U.S. consumers' mobile shopping habits and to discover what attributes consumers value most in their mobile service provider, ATG (acquired by Oracle in November 2010) launched the Mobile Trends: Consumer Views of Mobile Shopping and Mobile Service Providers Study, which surveyed 1,054 U.S. consumers ages 18 and older (Oracle, 2011). The survey found that:

  • 4 in 10, 18-34-yr-olds Make Mobile Purchases
  • Consumers across all age groups are indicating a desire to make payments on their mobile devices...
