If the 179 million Facebook users in Asia were to form a nation, it would be the region's fourth biggest, trailing behind only China, India and Indonesia. More than 50% of Singapore's and Hong Kong's total populations are on Facebook. Then there is Indonesia, where a seemingly impossible 132% of the online population is on Facebook – reflecting the fact that Facebook data is more recent than internet population data and therefore outpaces it.
