The sportswear brand, Adidas, wanted to use the 10th anniversary of its sponsorship of New Zealand's Rugby Union team (known as the "All Blacks") as an opportunity to continue its strategy of bringing fans closer to the squad via innovative team photographs and posters.

SUMMARY

To mark the 10th Anniversary of the Adidas All Blacks partnership, we wanted to do something really special. Our brief is always: bring the fans closer to the squad in a way that only Adidas can. And over the years, we’ve commemorated each new squad by photographing them in all manner of memorable ways.

In 2006, we got the squad to give blood to put in the poster and in 2008, using nano-technology, we enabled 10,000 fans to engrave their names onto the thread inside the captain's jersey in a gift with purchase...
