This presentation discusses the habits of "Echo Boomers" - defined as those born between 1979 and 1991.
The generation can be characterised by their autonomy and liking for authenticity, enabled by their use of online tools such as blogging. Echo Boomers are used to using interactive functions in broadcast media - such as voting to evict people from reality TV shows. They consider themselves marketing-savvy, able to see through hype; they tend to be more idealistic; they wish to express their individuality rather than blending in with the crowd.
