The great jazz singer Ella Fitzgerald made advertising history when she sang such a high pitch during a commercial that she shattered a champagne flute. There was a catch, of course. The voice that broke the glass was recorded on a Memorex audiotape, spawning the interrogative tag line "Is It Live, or Is It Memorex?"
