In a special supplement Advertising Ageranked the television jingle "Double your pleasure, double your fun" for Doublemint gum as the seventh most popular in a century of advertising. So much flavor was packed into the gum, the advertising claimed, that it must contain twice as much mint. The Doublemint Twins became popular in the 1930s and 1940s. Otis Shepard joined the Wm.
