RESEARCH METHOD

In November 2005 ICM conducted two separate research studies, one on issues surrounding crime and punishment, and the other including questions on taxation and government spending. In both cases the questions were asked simultaneously online and by telephone among samples of around 1000 people. The results obtained have been weighted to be representative of all adults by a range of demographic and consumption variables and by recall of votes cast at the last election.
