The 2003 Strathclyde study commissioned by the Food Standards Agency entitled 'The effects of food promotion to children' actually only looked at advertising. Similarly this article is entitled 'The ethics of marketing to children' and will be limited to advertising and, within that, the debate about TV advertising to children.
