This latest book ( 'Television and its Audience', Patrick Barwise and Andrew Ehrenberg (Sage Publications, 7.95 paperback and 12.95 hardback) from the Ehrenberg stable draws upon well-known past work such as that on audience duplication which appeared in a previous book The Television Audience: Patterns of Viewing' (Goodhart et al, Saxon House, updated 1987) and integrates that work into a much wider general context of discussion.
