WWW Response Rates to Socio-Demographic Items

INTRODUCTION
In the new era of World Wide Web (WWW) survey research, it is important for researchers to identify characteristics of their respondents. Whether the survey targets customers, specific populations, or research participants, items such as age, ethnicity, and gender are important indicators of the population sampled. The purpose of the current report is to identify which personal socio-demographic items participants submitted in response to a web survey.
