Introduction

The most recent surveys of The Market Research Society membership took place in 1982 and 1985. The survey conducted in January 1992 maintained continuity of questioning where possible to provide comparative data, but also included new information on attitudes to the Society which were intended to act as a benchmark whereby the Society could monitor its customer service over the years to come.
