Table-top payments company Ziosk is present in some 3,000 locations across America, where 52 million people view its 170,000 screens every month. And while its restaurant tablets first found traction as ordering and payment devices, they have since been expanded into technology that offers gaming and on-site social interaction.

"How do we extend the experience?" was the critical next-step question for the brand, according to Brett Steiger, its Head/Channel Strategy and Strategic Partnerships. As he explained at the 2016 ClickZ Live conference, in San Francisco, "You're in the restaurant, playing the games....
