BlueFocus and Tencent: Why China's digital giants are focusing on data
Most delegates at the 2016 Cannes Lions Festival of Creativity had a daily reminder of one particular brand. On logging in to the Festival's public WiFi, the delegate was served a page featuring a single large logo: that of Tencent, a vast media conglomerate headquartered in Shenzhen, China, whose various properties account for around 55% of the world's most populous nation's mobile usage.
