For small, independent hotel companies on a shoestring budget, competing with larger rivals can be intimidating … but not impossible.

Hawaii has 140 hotels, of which 32 are based on the island of Maui, and 12 right along the strip where the Ka'anapali Beach Hotel is situated. And Jenny Greene, that property's Director/Online Sales & Marketing, is using social media to increase its reach and engagement.
