At the same time, he directs the World Internet Project, a long-term longitudinal examination of the effects of computer and internet technology conducted in over 25 countries. He also counsels Microsoft, WPP's GroupM, Ericsson, Sony, Time Warner, AT&T and AARP in their traditional and digital-media strategies.
