According to Apoorva N. Gandhi, VP/Multicultural Affairs at Marriott International, consumer-facing enterprises, by the very nature of their businesses, must be multicultural in practice as well as in image.

And it's not as if "multicultural" is one, simply-defined demographic consumer bloc, he told the Association of National Advertisers' (ANA) 2015 Multicultural Marketing and Diversity Conference in Miami Beach, Florida. In fact, he explained, there is a steadily changing stream of "source markets" that are giving new shape to the travel industry.
