Successfully building a new brand typically is considered a marathon, not a sprint.
But for Newton Running – an eight-year-old athletic footwear manufacturer – moving at speed on social media is turning into a meaningful source of competitive advantage as it aims to take on heavyweights such as Nike, adidas and Reebok.
