Total IT adspend equated to $1.9bn globally in the first half of the year, according to data from Nielsen. This represents a year-on-year decline of 14.2% compared with 2013 and goes against the global trend – adspend across all categories rose by 4% for the same period. The majority of IT adspend is concentrated in North America (42.1%), followed by Asia- Pacific (34.2%) and then Europe (15.1%).
