In 1974 Pizza Hut, brought a new style of dining to the UK. Food that demanded to be eaten by hand, to be torn apart and shared (though few rose to the challenge).
By 1994 we had forgotten all that. Revenue tumbled, brand saliency, brand image and visiting went the same way, all showing a dogged determination not to respond to advertising.
