China will overtake Germany and the UK to become the world's third-biggest advertising economy in 2012, according to the latest International Ad Forecast from Warc.

The Forecast, which looks at 12 major advertising markets around the world, examines spending trends by medium for 2011 and 2012. It forecasts overall growth in Chinese advertising expenditure of +12.5% at current prices in 2011 and +14.5% in 2012, with the total market exceeding US$27 billion in value next year.
