Wednesday morning: web 2.0, online insight and Netvibes
Roderick White
Wednesday, 19 September 2007, 13.15

Tuesday night culminated in a celebratory dinner in the cavernous spaces of Eventisland, a former fireworks and munitions factory that is now a film and TV studio, which made a great setting for a party.

We enjoyed excellent food, music – including a rendering of Happy Birthday to ESOMAR by the cabaret – dancing, and, no doubt, lots more.

So it was a slightly jaded crowd that turned up the next morning for the final sessions of Congress, to be greeted by P&G’s Ted McConnell as he introduced a session entitled ‘New Frontiers’ in the main hall.

Ted raised a number of key questions about how we should approach, understand and use the web in research and marketing – and what followed provided at least an idea of the answers.
