Broadening skills and training

A key theme of this Congress, and indeed of much of ESOMAR’s recent work, has been concerned with the calibre of recruits to the market research industry, and how they can be helped to acquire and exploit the necessary skills and – as Michael Alioto reminded us yesterday – mindsets to handle the developing complexities of the demands placed upon researchers in today’s global marketplace.

Mark Whiting, of Moët Hennessy, has been closely involved in this, and this morning he introduced an interesting and varied session around these themes.
