Walmart's stores are visited by more than 140 million shoppers across America every week.

But alongside serving its existing clientele, the Bentonville, Arkansas-based retail giant is seeking to gain an understanding of how their wants and needs may change in the future. And it is here that ShopForward – an online community that contains 300 consumers operating at the digital "extreme" – enters into play.
