Adstats: Television adspend
Warc expects global TV adspend to rise 2.0% in 2015, to US$219.7bn. TV is forecast to take 39.9% of 2015's total adspend globally (US$550bn), followed by internet on 29.0% and newspapers on 13.1%. Of the 12 key markets featured, the US will continue to command by far the greatest share of TV adspend (US$68.4bn), followed by China and Japan on US$16.6bn. The biggest growth in TV adspend this year is forecast for India, at 15.4% year on year, culminating in adspend of US$2.4bn.
